Dog trainers have long used light packs as a simple enrichment tool: a healthy adult dog can comfortably carry around 10% of their body weight. That gentle "job" engages their focus, drains excess energy faster than a normal walk, and taps into what working breeds were born to do.

Translation: a 30-minute walk with the Trail Pack can feel like an hour to your dog — and a tired dog is a well-behaved dog.

Start with empty pockets for the first walks, then add weight gradually. Not recommended for puppies under 12 months or dogs with joint issues — ask your vet if unsure.

Sizing

Find their perfect fit

Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one — the straps adjust for a snug fit.

Can I attach a leash directly to it?

Yes — there's a reinforced D-ring on the back, plus a top grab handle for quick control on stairs, trails and crowded paths.

How much can my dog carry?

We recommend a maximum of about 10% of body weight for healthy adult dogs, starting lighter and building up. The pack itself weighs only about 400 g.

Will it slide sideways when the pockets are full?

Load both pockets evenly — bottle on one side, gear on the other — and snug the straps. The padded chest plate keeps the pack centered.

Is it waterproof?

It's water-resistant fabric — fine for drizzle and splashes. For river swims, remove the pack first.
